Start with your bg, for mine I used my grunge brushes, take your render of choice, place it and go to Edit> Transform>Scale,Rotat, etc. to however you want your image to be in your creation. Posted Image Duplicate the render layer and set it underneath the original. Use a Gaussian Blur with a radius anywhere from 1.5 - 4 Posted Image Then take the Lasso tool and lasso around the image, leaving some space. THen go to Selection>Feather, 25 pixels. Then click Ctrl+Shift+I and then hit delete. Posted Image By now your render will be pretty dark, so use hugh and saturation (ctrl-you) to make it WAY brighter. Posted Image Now you just clicked the highlighted button on the layers palette, and choose hugh and saturation. And play around till you have the color you want.
