Start with your bg, for mine I used my grunge brushes, take your render of choice, place it and go to Edit> Transform>Scale,Rotat, etc. to however you want your image to be in your creation.

Duplicate the render layer and set it underneath the original. Use a Gaussian Blur with a radius anywhere from 1.5 - 4

Then take the Lasso tool and lasso around the image, leaving some space. THen go to Selection>Feather, 25 pixels. Then click Ctrl+Shift+I and then hit delete.

By now your render will be pretty dark, so use hugh and saturation (ctrl-you) to make it WAY brighter.

Now you just clicked the highlighted button on the layers palette, and choose hugh and saturation. And play around till you have the color you want.
