i say no, save your $50 and get bf2 it's AMAZING! i've heard a lot of bad about cod 2, once again they promised a lot and didn't deliver, i feel bad for the people who got fooled twice and were left with a $50 frisbee, and a $50 coaster this might help your decision, a lot of people said it's just like the last one and if you didn't like the last one you won't like the new one...no buddy list ( beyond stupid ) proximity mic, and other shit that i really don't care about bf2 is where it's at i was right about socom correct? so i promise you i'll be right about this too, another great thing about bf2 "some people" aren't there, and if they ever show up ooooooooooooo can you say red ass! |

eh idk if you were right about socom. I mean seriously socom is amazing its just one of those games that you either like or dont like. Like theres alot or weapons and you can customize them and drive vehicles and have different skins and there the mic like the MOH one, there a buddy list which is amazing too. Theres also ingame clan creation. Yea, wow you have to use a credit card to have the clan and buddy list stuff and to play in ranked games, but it isnt that big of deal that you make it out to be, because seriously it isnt that hard to do and it takes no money from you. But yea this is about COD so i hear the gameplay is amazing and im going to rent it and then maybe buy it but i hear so many bad things about BF2. Lots of lag, graphics blow, and yea. :Uzi1: |

COD2 BR1 is just your average arcade shooter cloaked in WWII weapons and story line. Socom on the other hand is a good game for your money. Good weapons, graphics, single player missions, and I could go on. And you can still play online and have fun w/out being ranked or in a clan. Im not saying BF2 isn't a fun game, I have played it, and it is fun. But Socom is just what I like. NOT BUY |

Well I like it, It is set up like the PC version it could have better server options and a friends list but it is still cool |

I am going to agree with Rancid that BF2 isn't all that great. I rented it and the lag was pretty bad, and graphics were like washed out polygons. It was still ok to play but idk if I would spend 50 bucks on it. <_< |
