I've been through the xbox vs. PS2 debate a few times and everybody that has had both seems to like the xbox better and everyone who has only played the PS2 always brings up the charge for playing online. I'll admit I was always 100% for the PS2 until I bought an xbox a year ago. I got the PS2 the first day it came out and played online before MOH ever came out and I didn't see the need to buy a system and pay for online games in which I thought was the exact same thing. After buying an xbox and paying $50 for a year of live I can only tell you from my own experiences that it's far better than anything the PS2 has to offer. MOH was a great game and I too often judge other games in comparison to it with most all coming up short but the live service itself outweighs the cost/benefit of the PS2. It's not like you're paying a fee to get the exact same online experience, but included in that monthly fee are updates (new maps, game modes, game repairs), friends lists, and reduced lag compared to the PS2. Live still has it's share of kids (and bigger kids) who still feel the need to talk shit because they lack it in real life but you'll never get away from that. To sum it all up I've had both and am credible enough to give my unbased opinion in which I would choose the xbox (and the fee) over the PS2.

On to Battlefield, I think the game is great and the best thing since MOH. There seem to be a lot less kids only out to ruin someone's day and the objective based games are more to my game than TDM or DM because of my agressive nature. I like the run and gun feel and the in game clan matches are a lot of fun but they need to make it where you can't join a clan match after it has started and making it uneven teams.
